When taking a trip to Maui, be sure to go to Old Lahaina Luau for a true Hawaiian luau experience. Their location is right on the water with spectacular sunset views. Guests can choose from two types of seating arrangements, Traditional Hawaiian mat seating, front-row around the stage, or conventional table and chairs.
Guests are greeted with a fresh lei and a Mai Tai. You will enjoy an evening of traditional Hawaiian cuisine, music, cultural dances and demonstrations. The dining experience is a five-course meal consisting of Pacific-Rim and Hawaiian cuisine. Tropical cocktails and beverages are also included throughout the evening.
The night’s main entertainment begins at sunset with Old Lahaina’s award-winning Hula, telling the story of the Hawaiians, in honor and respect of the Ancestors. The story begins with the Polynesian migration across the Pacific to the “new islands” of Hawai’i, then to the ancient Hawaiian Hula followed by the evolution to a more contemporary style of Hula.
Guests are sure to enjoy an evening with Old Lahaina Luau. The creators and performers pride themselves on sticking to tradition since first opening in 1986. We highly recommend the Old Lahaina Lua to learn more about Hawaii and to take in its rich history and culture, all while enjoying Maui’s gorgeous island backdrop.
